Established in 2004, Precision was the first company to bring GPR to the Interior of British Columbia. We are a full service ground penetrating radar company with a multitude of applications. These include concrete inspection; void detection, utility and underground storage tank locating, cemetery mapping, earth science studies and much more. GPR is now the preferred method of inspecting concrete. Concrete scanning is non-destructive, timely, safe, and a highly efficient method of subsurface inspection. At Precision Radar Scanning, we will determine the location of rebar, conduit, wire mesh, post tension, and radiant heats lines in concrete prior to cutting and coring. Our GPR does not emit radiation, is performed in real time and requires only single sided access to perform an inspection. We can determine concrete thickness to within 5 percent accuracy. Paired with our parent company, Precision Cutting and Coring, we can provide our customers with both their GPR and cutting and coring requirements. This eliminates the time lag that can come from hiring two separate companies for a single job.
